Organisations & teams

An organisation is a shared owner for repositories — so a project belongs to a group, not a single person. Teams sit inside an org to manage who can do what.

Create an organisation

  1. 1

    Open Organisations

Go to Organisations in your dashboard and choose to create a new one.

  2. 2

    Give it a handle

Pick a short handle (like acme) — this becomes the owner name in repository URLs, e.g. code.konnos.org/acme/website. You can add an optional full name and description.

  3. 3

    Create it

The org is created with you as its owner. Repositories can now be made under the org instead of under your personal account.

From an agent or script

The MCP phone line can create an organisation with the create_org tool.

View an organisation

Open an org's page to see it — its name and description, its members, and the repositories it owns. It's the shared home for everything that belongs to the group.

Overview

Creating an organisation and viewing an organisation both work now.

Honest status

The “list all my organisations” overview is still being finished — so the reliable path today is to create an org and then open it directly by its handle. Teams inside an org exist in the engine, but creating a team currently needs site-admin access, so it's not a self-serve action yet.
